Gardone Riviera enjoys a unique microclimate, mild all year round which allows olive trees , cypresess and citrus trees to blend in well with the palm and cedar trees in parks and gardens.
The Vittoriale degli Italiani, citadel in Gardone alto is now a prestigious museum. Inside there is an amphitheater with 1500 seats, where theater, music and other shows are performed. The ship “Puglia” donated from the Military Navy to the poet D’Annunzio is mounted between the rocks, various parks and gardens where you can relive a piece of history. The Botanical Garden of “Andrè Heller” comprises hundreds of species of plants and flowers. Realised in 1910 by the naturalist Hruska, it is defenitively the destination for nature lovers.
The Museum Divino Infante with over 200 sculptures represents the most important collection of figurative works of the Divine Infant.
